About Søskenhjelp

Søskenhjelp started with a sentence we've heard again and again: my siblings and I are juggling Mum's appointments, the shopping and home care across three group chats.

It isn't a caring problem. It's a coordination problem, and it lands on people who already have a job and often children of their own to keep up with. The tools that already exist are either calendars that say nothing about who is responsible, or large systems built for councils and health professionals.

What we're building

One shared page per family: a common task list, a calendar for appointments, a simple duty week that shows whose turn it is, and one contact card with home care, the GP and the pharmacy. Siblings join through an invitation link, with no account other than a phone number, and everything runs in the browser on your phone so nobody has to install anything.

The first part is out now and is free: you fill in the overview here on the site and share it as text in the chat your family already uses. The shared edition, where changes sync between siblings, is still being built.

What it will cost

NOK 19 a month for the whole family, once the shared edition is ready. Not per sibling, and not a subscription that gets dearer the more of you help. The price is set at what it costs to run plus a small margin, and cancelling will take as few clicks as signing up.

The only thing for sale today is the overview on paper: the duty calendar for the next twelve weeks and a phone card, put together from your own overview and made ready to print. NOK 39, once, no subscription. The overview itself — and the fridge sheet — is free and will stay that way.

What we don't make

No medical records. No diagnoses, medication lists or notes about health. We store logistics — who does what, when, and which number to ring. It's a deliberate line: it keeps the product simpler for you, and it means we never hold information we shouldn't have. More on that on the privacy page.
